SPOTIFY PLAYLISTS

I love Spotify and have found so many great new artists on there that I love. It's such a great thing to have for Music fans as you can basically try before you buy, I have made quite a few playlists and I keep them for a few months. My Playlists really show the vast taste in Music I have as the variety is very wide indeed. I will post links here to some of my playlists and will give a guide about the playlists. 


Great Guitar Solos

As anyone who loves Guitar Music will know, there are those great solos that just complete the song and take it to another level. In this playlist I have added some of my favourite guitar solos, I tried to be as varied as I could to show that not only Blues and Rock/Metal have great solos but also R&B and other genres. Feel free to comment on the playlist and join if you are also on Spotify. There's everything from Prince to John Mayer to Eric Clapton to Michael Jackson and many other artists. I tried to put in a wide range of solos from frenetic to the slower intricate ones. Enjoy.


New Mega Playlist

I recently deleted a big playlist and this is the one I swapped the old one for. It has a mix of old and new stuff. The recent stuff comes from Gotye ft Kimbra "Somebody that I used to know" which I think is a great tune and Lianne La Havas who I saw on Later with Jools Holland and then checked out on Spotify. Then you've got some great Blues there with Warren Haynes as well as Duanne Allman & also The Allman Brothers Band. I am a big fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd and there's some great post plane crash material from The Allen Collins Band and Rossington Collins Band. 


Beatles Bettered

Their influence on Music is undeniable but I just feel they should have been songwriters for other people as pretty much every one of their songs that has had a well known cover has been bettered on the cover in my opinion. This is My Playlist featuring some of those versions. It features the likes of artists as diverse as Bill Withers and Guns N' Roses as well as three excellent covers from Boyz II Men.
